Let's Be Friends

So, I told the Irishman that I only feel platonic towards him. I asked him about what he meant on his blog and he said he wasn't sure if I was expecting him to kiss me or not.

The only thing I feel bad about is that our entire conversation was over text messages. I tried to call him, but he wouldn't answer his phone. For some reason he just loves communicating through SMS.

And that's that. No dates lined up. I'm in a dating funk anyway.

You're probably better off. It's hard to have a guy who can only communicate through SMS. What is he afraid of?

I keep finding guys that either only communicate thru SMS or IM. I've grown accustomed to it, and I actually do it a lot now too.

I don't mind doing basic communicating through SMS or IM, but telling someone I just want to be friends over text...that bothered me. I have more respect for the guy, but he just doesn't answer his phone.

My Matty was a big texter. He didn't even like IM. We used to have these long drawn out arguments over text because he was too much of a coward to pick up the phone when we were fighting. Looking back, it was silly, and I dated him too long. We did break up in person though!
